If school is cancelled or an early release is declared, we will not hold practice to ensure the safety of our families and staff.
*Please Note* We will re-evaluate to see if we will be providing a post season.
Practices occurring after Thursday February 6, 2025, is our post season program and is geared for those wrestlers preparing to compete in the
MNUSA, Jaycees or NYWA State Tournaments if they are available this season. Your child is welcome to continue to participate if they desire.
We understand that the season gets long, and we try to organize it in a manner which helps all athletes feel successful.
We encourage our parents to make the decision to continue past regular season based on their wrestler’s season goals.
The Big Lake Open Youth Wrestling Tournament is one event our association encourages all to attend.
Season Cost:
$120.00 per wrestler
This includes a Big Lake Youth Wrestling T-shirt, entrance paid to the Big Lake Classic Tournament, and entrance
paid to Big Lake High School Wrestling JV/Varsity meet on Youth Night.
- Singlet deposit: $65 per wrestler. This is a deposit that allows you to borrow a singlet for the entire season. The deposit will be returned
to you at the end of the season when the singlet is returned. There are also opportunities to purchase your own singlet.
- Volunteer Deposit: $300 per family. Our Club requires a postdated check in the amount of $300.00 as a deposit towards your volunteer hours. We hold this
